AMERICAN DREAM DOWN PAYMENT

WHAT is IT?

Down payments are one of the biggest hurdles people face in purchasing their first home. Recognizing the stability and economic strength home ownership can bring to low-income communities, ALL WAYS UP has created the American Dream Down Payment Program to help eligible residents realize their dream of homeownership.

The purpose of the program is to provide assistance to low- and moderate-income earners, and help tenants move out of subsidized housing and into a home of their own. Grants are not guaranteed to applicants. Recipients will be determined by ALL WAYS UP at its sole discretion.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE
American Dream Down Payment Program,
BORROWER(S) MUST:

  • Be referred by a Charity Partner or be an authorized tenant named on the lease for two consecutive years within Section 8 housing managed by PK Management
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Not currently own a home
  • Be at least 50% owner of the home being purchased
  • Intend to be the owner-occupant of the home being purchased
  • Go through a qualified first-time home buyers program
